Throwback Thursday #2

April 25, 2013
Linking up for Throwback Thursday!  Today my Throwback photos aren't that old, but since I just finished up my coursework, I decided to include pictures of myself with my cohort.

Three years ago, I decided to go back to school to get my Master's degree in Early Childhood Education.  In order to get into the Master's program, I had to take one year of pre-requisite classes.  The first class I took was Art Education.  You would think that an Art Ed. class would be a piece of cake, but it was a ton of work!!  Even though it was intense at the time, looking back, it was probably one of my favorite classes.

My prof modeled a lot of lessons for us, and we got to participate in them and make the crafts.

After completing my year of pre-req's I entered an M.Ed program with 12 other students.  We were part of a cohort that took almost every class together for the last 2 years.

Early Childhood Educators--We collected those donations for a high poverty school as a part of our service learning project.

It's certainly going to be strange not seeing these faces on a regular basis anymore!  I know that I made some friends for life, though!
