What I'm Looking Forward to this Fall

What I'm Looking Forward to this Fall

1)  Fall Scents!  I got a coupon in the mail a couple of days ago from Bath & Body Works for a free mini candle as well as a 20% off coupon.  I already made a trip into the store and picked up a blueberry pumpkin mini candle as well as two medium sized (6 oz) candles in Pumpkin Cupcake and Pumpkin Caramel Latte.  The 6 oz candles were two for $15 and I had the 20% off coupon and no fall candles, so it was a no brainer to pick these up.  I haven't started burning them yet because it's been abnormally hot and humid here this week, but once it cools off a bit, I'll be lighting these babies.  My favorite of the three is Pumpkin Caramel Latte.  As soon as you unscrew the lid, you can instantly smell the sweet pumpkiny scent.  I also have a bit of BBW's Creamy Pumpkin room spray left over from last year that I'll be using.

2)  Seasonal Fall Foods: I love almost anything pumpkin flavored.  I'll list a few of my favorites below:

* Pepperidge Farm Pumpkin Cheesecake Cookies- Have you had these yet?  I picked them up one year from Wal-Mart, and then never saw them carried in another store since!!  Luckily, I have a friend whose mother works at Pepperidge Farm, so she got me an extra pack last year and told me she has another one for me this year.  The reason why I can't ever find them is because they are almost always sold out of this popular item.  Hopefully they made extra batches this year so that the shelves are stocked.

* Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Frappucino- This one is wildly popular in the fall with a ton of people, including me.

* Dunkin' Donuts Pumpkin Spice K-Cups

* Dairy Queen's Pumpkin Pie Blizzard- Even though this is super fattening, I usually get this once or twice in the fall!

3) The Weather: I like it when the temperature starts dropping down to the 60's and 50's.  I enjoy hoodie weather and being outside during this time.

4) Taking a Trip to an Orchard/Pumpkin Patch:

Nothing says fall like hot apple cider and going to pick out pumpkins for decorating or carving!  This year I also hope to attend Circleville's Pumpkin Festival.  I have been wanting to go for a few years now, but it is kind of far away from me so I just never made it.  Many people have told me that the pumpkin burgers served at the festival are to die for!

5) Seeing the Fall Foliage: Ohio is beautiful in the fall.  Where I'm living now, the leaves are expected to change colors at the beginning of October, but in Columbus (just an hour south of me), the leaves change a bit later, more towards the middle of October.  I always like to make a trip to Columbus after enjoying the colorful leaves in my town.  I hope to go on a hike and maybe even go on a scenic drive.

6) Entertainment:

Book: Allegiant is coming out on October 22nd!  I can't wait to read the third book of the Divergent series...I've only been waiting for over a year for it.

TV Shows: I can't wait to see Once Upon a Time Season 3 and also to start watching Once Upon a Time in Wonderland.  If Once Upon a Time in Wonderland is half as good as it looks from the trailer, I'm sure I'll be hooked.

Movies: I'm anticipating the release of Catching Fire on November 22nd, as well!

Is there anything that you're specifically looking forward to doing this fall?
