Meet Gi @ The Hunt Life

October 1, 2013
Today I wanted to introduce you to my lovely Snail Mail Collective partner, Gi from Australia.  She is a hilarious and laid back gal who is also incredibly friendly!  I hope you go over and check out her blog, The Hunt Life.  She blogs about a wide range of topics from her husband to weight loss to book reviews.  You won't regret it!

1) What is your favorite thing to blog about?
I am going to be super duper lame and say my favourite thing to blog about is my husband! We have almost been married for a year so we are still really in our honeymoon phase and I am so incredibly (unhealthy) obsessed with my husband that I could spend all day writing about how much I love him! Funny because I always hated super lovey dovey people and now I am the worst one out there.

2) Share a few fun facts about yourself.
Okie Dokie umm when I was younger I was asked to be on the school golf club because I had "great natural ability" my sports teacher kept pressuring me thinking I would be amazing at golf, I thought the game was lame so I turned down her offer. Just think I could have been the female tiger woods ha ha! Another fun (lame) fact my husband and I hold genuine conversations in cat! Yes we meow at each other for a good 5 minutes and both know exactly what we are talking about. I like to say that we are peas from the same pod that perhaps got stepped on at one time so are a bit wonky!

3) What do you like to do for fun?
I love being out doors, playing around and acting stupid with my 3 little sisters. You would think at 24 years old I would have grown up but not yet! A few weekends ago we mowed a cricket pitch in the back paddock and played for a few hours, nice and classy. Living so close to the beach we also spend a lot of time down there, I just love our beach!

4) What is your favorite part of Australia and why is it your favorite?
Well I love the beaches here, we have some of the best in the world (I may be biased) there is something magical to spending all day at the beach then in the afternoon watching the sunset whilst listening to the radio and chatting to people that you have only just met. Everyone is friendly at the beach, you park your car on the sand next to another group of people and within 5 minutes you are already chatting like you knew each other.

5)  What is one of your dreams?
This is a incredibly big secret because I haven't even told my husband but I often dream of one day running a half marathon. Plenty of doctors have joked that I won't be able to run any marathons in my life in relation to my health but I reThis is a incredibly big secret because I haven't even told my husband but I often dream of one day ru

6)  How has blogging influenced or changed you?
I think about things differently, I definitely make the best out of my downtime to make sure that I have something to write about.  I enjoy life much more now that I'm blogging!

Have you made any blog buddies through an exchange or swap?
