Snail Mail Collective Reveal: Back to School

October 4, 2013
In September, I decided to sign up for the Snail Mail Collective for my first time.  I was paired with the fabulous Gi @ The Hunt Life.  Gi already did a little introduction on my blog, and if you'd like to read that, check it out here.  I had a great time communicating with Gi, especially because of her fun personality and because I found out that she lives near a place I stayed at when I visited Australia.

I got my package in the mail the other day and couldn't have been more excited to open it up!  The theme for September was Back to School, which I could easily relate to since I've spent most of my life either being a student or a teacher.  :)  Gi picked out some cute school supplies that I'm sure I'll have a blast using.  She included mini highlighters, mini tape dispensers, pink paper clips (yes!!), mini scissors, and some erasers.  The scissors have a chain so that they can be attached to a key ring, perfect!  Gi also added a delicious bag of Fru Chocs which are made in Southern Australia.  They are balls of apricot and peach dipped in chocolate.  I haven't ever had anything quite like them, but they are scrumptious.  I'm actually a little relieved that I've now photographed them so that I can dig in freely.  :D

On each gift, Gi attached a post it note, explaining why she included it which was super thoughtful!  The post card pictured above is from a beach near her house, which she invited me to if I ever come to Australia again.  I may have to take her up on that offer!

I loved being paired with a gal from another country and I hope that Gi and I stay in touch.  THE SNAIL MAIL COLLECTIVE ROCKS and was such a positive experience for me!

    1. I can see why you are addicted! If they were available here, I would be snatching up some more because they seem like a healthier candy option since there is at least some fruit in there.
